Do my guests need to download an app?+
No. Fold opens instantly in any phone browser from a link or QR code. Guests can add it to their home screen if they like, but there’s nothing to install.
Who actually designs my guide?+
Jonathan, Fold’s founder. Every guide is designed individually — your palette, your typography, your names for things — not generated from a template. You deal with a person, not a ticket system.
Do you work with chains?+
No. Fold is only for independent hotels, inns and B&Bs — places with their own name on the door. That focus is why every guide can be designed individually.
Can I make it fit my hotel exactly?+
Yes. Add, rename, reorder and remove sections freely — the spa ritual, the breakfast menu, the story of the building. The editor bends to your hotel, and the design is done around your brand, by hand.
What languages does it work in?+
Write your guide in your language; guests switch to theirs and the whole guide — and the concierge — translates automatically. We’re launching with English, Portuguese, Japanese, Indonesian, Spanish and French.
How does the AI know about my place?+
It only uses what’s in your guide. It never invents wifi passwords, door codes or addresses, and it’s honest when it doesn’t know — then it quietly lets you know a guest needs you.
How are local recommendations chosen?+
From real, highly-rated places near you. Fold never suggests anything below four stars, and curates for genuine quality over filler — then writes each one up in your guide’s voice.
How long does setup take?+
About four minutes to a full draft — describe your hotel or paste your website and Fold writes the guide for you. Then Jonathan personally designs it around your brand, usually within 48 hours.
How does pricing work?+
A flat $99/month per property — design, AI concierge, auto-translation and local recommendations all included. No per-room charges, no setup fee. Larger properties or groups: get in touch.
Can I manage more than one property?+
Yes — add as many as you like, each with its own guide, link, QR code and design.
What if I cancel?+
Cancel anytime. Your guide stays live until the end of your billing period.
